Resources for teaching Able pupils in RE
Over the last few months, NATRE has been working in partnership with NACE (National Association for Able Children in Education) to develop a suite of resources designed to support teachers in delivering high-quality Religious Education (RE) to able pupils.
These carefully curated resources include lesson ideas, teacher reflections, and blog posts, offering practical guidance and inspiration for both primary and secondary RE teachers. The aim is to enhance classroom practice and ensure that able pupils are effectively challenged and engaged in their learning.
NATRE would like to extend its gratitude to all executive members who have contributed to this project, bringing their expertise and insights to shape valuable teaching materials.
In line with our commitment to supporting the wider RE and curriculum community, we are pleased to offer these resources free of charge. Teachers can now access them via the NACE website: https://www.nace.co.uk/page/subjects-primary-humanities.
We encourage all RE educators to explore these resources and integrate them into their teaching to enrich the learning experience of able pupils.
