Have your say: NATRE’s Secondary RE Survey 2025 is now live!

Survey

Are you teaching Religious Education, RME or RVE in a secondary school? Your voice matters — and now is the time to make it count.

NATRE’s eighth national Secondary Survey is now open, and we want to hear directly from you about how curriculum changes are shaping RE in your classroom — whether you’re teaching in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.

With ongoing curriculum reviews and reforms across the UK, this year’s survey includes the impact of curriculum change on RE, including the Curriculum for Wales and the curriculum and assessment review in England. We’ve worked hard to make the questions more inclusive of each nation’s context, so if you see language that’s specific to one area, we appreciate your understanding.

Why take part?

  • Help NATRE continue to advocate for high-quality RE by sharing the real picture from your school
  • Inform how we support RE teachers and shape national conversations about policy and practice
  • Be entered into our prize draw to win a ticket to the in-person Strictly RE Conference on Saturday 31 January 2026!

All responses are completely confidential. No schools or teachers will ever be identified in any reporting or campaigning.

The survey closes on Sunday 31 August 2025 — don’t miss this opportunity to make your voice heard.
