God is with the Angels in Heaven

Isabelle asked herself ‘Where is God? And shared her thoughts and feelings with the class. She thought God was in Heaven and that he was in us (in our hearts). Isabele came up with words such as clouds, light. White. Fluffy and sunny. Isabelle said ‘God is with the angels in heaven’ and ‘he sends rainbows’ linking to her learning of Noah’s Ark. She painted pastel blues to ensure a bright painting. She then used a range of printing implements and techniques to created textured clouds. She painted an angel as the most predominant and focal point in her picture to represent God in his spirit. Lastly, she represented God’s Rainbow creating one using pastel colours and finger painting. She also collaged her artwork adding feathers to the angel and subtle glitter.
