Hidden treasure

When I’m looking for God, I need to look into my heart, where my soul is found. God is a hidden treasure inside a human heart. He is the most valuable thing inside us. The body is just a poor packaging for this treasure. God is like a diamond, and our lives rely on finding this diamond in our hearts. Every time we pray and build a better relationship with God, we find out the true value of God and ourselves (which we are made in His image). When we allow God to be present in our hearts, we are able to do good deeds. Then, the good is poured out from our heart onto the world (like life-giving rivers to the earth). This causes the heart to beat stronger, more lively and more joyfully (as shown by the holter monitor that I have drawn on my artwork).

However, when we don’t look for God inside our life, not praying and not building a relationship with him, then we lose the most important thing in our life. If God is just something fictional for us, we do not allow him to be present in our hearts which turn into hard rock. Which then, from this soul, hidden in the heart, pours sadness and despair into the world. A heart with this soul dies.

Therefore, every day, it’s worth asking yourself the question: where is God?
