Funding opportunities for ITE
On this page you will find opportunities that you can apply to, to support you financially when you are training to be a teacher of religious education.
Many of those training to teach Religious Education will be entitled to tuition fee and maintenance loans. For more information about this visit Get into teaching – Student finance.
In addition, there are a number of charitable organisations who offer grants of between £500 and £4000 depending on need to people training to teach RE. Some Trusts have conditions for awards such as living in a certain area of the country. Please visit the website for each trust for further information about eligibility and how to apply.
