GCSE Religious Studies at Full and Short Course requires pupils to engage with questions to which they must demonstrate their knowledge and understanding related to AO1 and AO2.  This course will provide practical support to you to develop written answers which meet assessment objectives.  Developed and led by an experienced GCSE teacher with over 20 years in the classroom this will draw on pupil responses to analyse high attaining responses.

This course is not designed with one specific examination board in mind but will use assessment criteria to develop activities to support your pupils in providing high quality written responses that meet the level descriptors for GCSE.

Drawing on a wide range of written responses from across schools you will be able to review how pupils have moved from one grade to another and to work with colleagues to use classroom practice to support your own classes.  With clear references to AO1 and AO2 this course will also draw on the link oracy has to improve GSCE responses and how this can be developed over the two years of a GCSE course.
