Description

This course explores the use of disciplinary approaches in Religious Education, based on the Challenging Knowledge in RE book series. It supports teachers in applying disciplines such as theology, philosophy, sociology, anthropology and psychology in the classroom, deepens understanding of disciplinary methods and their underlying epistemological assumptions, and develops practical skills for using these approaches with pupils. The course also introduces the Challenging Knowledge in RE resources from RE Toda and is available to NATRE members.
