Leadership updates – Cross phase (19-01-2027)

With curriculum changes on the horizon and published in September 2027 as draft materials and frameworks for inspection this series of leadership briefings will provide up to date information and guidance relating to leadership responsibilities for RE from SLT to middle leaders and not forgetting the role of governors or trust boards.  You will have the opportunity to ask questions and hear about current events in the world of RE.

The world of RE is moving at a pace at the moment in the follow up to the Curriculum and Assessment Review and the Task and Finish Group.With the increased focus on understanding religious and non-religious beliefs as well as personal knowledge this series of briefings will ensure you are abreast of all the current and future thinking in RE for all schools and MATs.

As former senior leaders, Debbie and Ian will be able to frame this briefing to support you in ensuring the links between RE and school improvement.

Ian and Debbie will be available at the end of each session to answer any questions you have.
