This course explores how oracy in RE is far more than talk. You will examine how purposeful speaking, active listening, structured dialogue and subject-specific vocabulary work together to build pupil’s understanding of religious and non-religious worldviews. Oracy enables children to organise their thinking, articulate ideas clearly, reason well and engage meanigfully with others. These are all essential skills for high-quality RE.
