Hifsa is a training consultant with over 30 years’ experience in community engagement and education. A retired civil servant who worked for the Department for Education, she holds a number of roles across community and education organisations.
What will you learn?
- This session explores Islam and faith literacy to help teachers navigate sensitive discussions with confidence, challenge misconceptions and support respectful dialogue in increasingly diverse classrooms.
- The session equips teachers with practical knowledge about Islam, common misconceptions, key beliefs and lived experiences of Muslim communities, while also exploring how to respond to difficult questions and sensitive issues in balanced and age-appropriate ways.
