Local groups

All across the country you can find local RE network groups which have been set up to enable teachers to meet, share good practice and support one another. Meetings are run by a mix of teachers, RE advisers, school improvement officers or independent consultants. Some Local Groups meet within their key stages, whilst others are cross-phase. There are also Local Groups for teachers of children with special educational needs. The engagement offered by these groups can be invaluable to teachers who feel isolated, and the networks provide support to all teachers who come along.
