Better Writing at GCSE for all exam boards – Secondary

GCSE Religious Studies at Full and Short Course requires pupils to engage with questions to which they must demonstrate their knowledge and understanding related to AO1 and AO2.  This course will provide practical support to you to develop written answers which meet assessment objectives.  Developed and led by an experienced GCSE teacher with over 20 years in the classroom this will draw on pupil responses to analyse high attaining responses.

Using Story in Primary RE (04-02-2027)

Stories are an essential part of RE, helping pupils explore religions and worldviews through engaging narratives rich in meaning and belief. But how can we keep story-based learning fresh, exciting and meaningful? This practical and engaging session explores a wide range of creative approaches for teaching stories in RE, helping pupils move beyond simply retelling events to exploring the beliefs, values and ideas that underpin them.

Oracy in Religious Education -Primary

This course explores how oracy in RE is far more than talk. You will examine how purposeful speaking, active listening, structured dialogue and subject-specific vocabulary work together to build pupil’s understanding of religious and non-religious worldviews.
