Our current Executive Committee ends its terms of office at the end of February 2027, and this term we are seeking nominations from serving teachers of RE / RVE / RME to work on this national body for three years from March 2027 – February 2030.
We will elect up to 10 primary teachers and 10 secondary teachers.
All FULL NATRE members (not including Basic – try before you buy a membership) are eligible to stand for office and to vote.
Those who join the Executive need to be willing to attend three meetings per year (meeting pattern is as follows: (1) 12 / 13 March 2027 – Residential in/near Birmingham, (2) 12 June 2027 – online, (3) 13 November 2027, Wesley Conference Centre, London) and to be activists for good RE in their own circumstances and on a national level. Expenses are met by our sponsors. The work can be challenging but is also extremely rewarding both personally and professionally. Please see the role description below.
