Christians
Inspiring RE: Christians provides a variety of well-resourced and inspiring strategies for teaching about Christians in the primary school. From Easter around the world to the Lord’s Prayer, this book also supports teacher subject knowledge and confidence.
This is the fourth systematic book in this series, and it looks at what being a Christian really means to some of the Christians living in Britain and around the world today. For our youngest children we look at the birth of Jesus, the Beatitudes and incarnation. The Lord’s Prayer is explored interactively through art, music, discussion and writing. For 9–11-year-olds we focus on kingdom parables, using strategies to explore three aspects of them: the world behind the stories, their text, and how they affect readers. The book finishes with dos and don’ts for those teaching about Christians.
