National school workforce report 2024
About this resource
Why is the workforce for Religious Education so heavily loaded with
teachers who mainly teach something else?
This analysis examines Department for Education workforce data for teachers delivering Religious Education (RE) in England, separated into three key age groups: Years 7–9, Years 10–11, and Years 12–13. The data collection forms part of the school census conducted every year in November and reported in June the following year. Statistics: school workforce – GOV.UK
