RE-Searchers A New Approach to RE In Primary Schools

About this resource

This resource introduces the RE-Searchers model, an inquiry-based approach to primary RE that encourages children to think like researchers. It presents four key roles óDetectives, Debaters, Explorers, and Reflectors óhelping pupils develop questioning, reasoning, and reflective skills. The model supports deeper engagement with religious and philosophical concepts by fostering dialogue, curiosity, and critical thinking. It is designed to make RE an active, investigative process, promoting independent thought and respectful discussion.
