From Darkness to Light

The theme I have chose was Healing because of my artwork shows the greatness and diversity of the world but then the darkness as well. My inspiration came from a swing because that is my special place. I have tried to show my thoughts, ideas, visions, and feelings by surrounding the light of the world and the human in a patch of darkness to show that life isn’t always great, but it gets better along the way. To make the image, I use a large block of colour to create all the people in the world but then used black to show a person coming out of darkness as life is getting better for them. I’ve discovered everyone goes to through a time when they’re in the darkness but then come out overtime and be happy again. The deepest thing about my work is the rainbow because it represents everyone no matter your race, eye colour, hair colour or religion – we are all human. The main point of the picture is to show that everyone can heal and have a special place no matter what and always be happy when finding our own place in the world.
