God in All of Us

God in All of Us – Searching for God 

I created a pencil crayon drawing on the theme searching for God. In my drawing I have created four images and below each image I have written a sentence which are: Matru Devo Bhava, Pitru Deva Bhava, Acharya Devo Bhava and Atithi Devo Bhava. The meaning of these sentences are that: Mother is equal to God, Father is equal to God, Teacher is equal to God and Guest is equal to God. These are captured in the ancient and holy language Sanskrit, from Hindu scripture. I used these sentences to give an answer to the theme searching for God. God is in all of us. I chose these four images for each area because it is easy to link and read each to each key phrase. I used black to colour in each person because I wanted to show the inner body of the person and I added a light shining in each person to represent the light of God in us all. I also gave a background colour for each of the drawings to make it look good.
