Journey to find God

One day, I set out to find God,

and I thought to myself, isn’t it odd,

that we’ve had this belief based around him,

we worship and pray, sing the occasional hymn.

but where is he, where should I look?

might I turn to the Bible, the Christian book?

alas, I found nothing on our holy saviour

So, I approached a temple to find our creator

but still, no clue, no direction or pointer

So, I had to browse through the Qur’an and Torah.

When I had a browse through the Qur’an and Torah.

When I’d read all the notes, every word.

Still, I had nothing, it was so absurd!

Then on my way home, I filled with glee

He was really, just all around me.

God is everywhere! From every mountain to each bay.

And that is the tale of my curious day.
