Looking Beyond
My art is based on the Christian faith. It was inspired by my RE lesson. In RE we looked at life after death and how religion helps you when times get hard. I decided to do an abstract painting. The colours in the background represent how everyone is different and how people all have different ways of coping throughout hard times. The telescope in the centre of my picture looks just like just an ordinary telescope, but when you look inside of it you see a light standing outside the room of judgment. This light is God, judging people’s lives and what decisions people make. The room of judgment is where Christians believe they go after their passing or where their loved ones go when they pass. They believe in the room of judgement and that God will send them to heaven or hell based on their life choices. By Gabriella Edwards
