Holi

My artwork was inspired by the Hindu festival of Holi. Holi is part of the religion of Hinduism and is a festival where they throw colour into the air to celebrate the arrival of spring, the end of winter and have a good time. 

My artwork represents this by drawing three pots of coloured powders and a rainbow water colour in the air to show how the colour is thrown up into the air. 

My artwork is also fine lined in the quote “may your life be as colourful as the festival.” Going all around the pots and the sky, it also goes round the colour at the bottom of the pots. 

I decided to go with the festival of Holi as it is very colourful.
