Imbalance

Imbalance – God’s Good Earth 

The title I chose was God’s good earth. I felt most inspired by this theme. It’s portraying what’s happening in the world right now and I hope to spread a message with my artwork: To make people aware of our world, and the state it is in. This picture is all about the imbalance of God’s people and how their actions have led to many consequences. The imbalance of God’s people is that some really care about the earth, all good stewards and do things to make a difference. On the other hand, there are some who take this earth for granted. Our world is crumbling, people are obsessing over materialistic things. In RE it’s good to make connections with the world we live in now and the world as it’s written in religious texts. Doing this work, has made me reflect on all the little things me and my family could have done in the past to help the nature around us. Now we eat mostly organic, recycle as much as we can and cut down a huge amount on plastic consumption. I hope when reading this and looking at my artwork, you all realise God might want us to be the change we all want to see in this world and to start now.
